Kendrick Labs has been carrying out protein electrophoresis as a service for academia, federal institutions and industry since 1987. Our mission is to help clients solve proteomic problems quickly and economically, especially problems which require 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis. Our service functions nationwide via low-cost express mail, toll-free phone, and e-mail. We receive samples and return results to New York and Los Angeles as fast as labs based in these cities.  Mission and People

2D gel electrophoresis has been around a while but is still the best method for resolving complex mixtures of proteins for discovery and characterization. Once proteins have been identified from 2D gels by mass spectrometry, protein arrays or Elisa assays may be employed for high throughput screening. Kendrick Labs specializes in 2D gel electrophoresis (2-DE) and generally has a turnaround time of about a week for the basic method. With over two decades of experience we can meet all requirements including computerized 2D gel analysis using Progenesis SameSpot software, silver, Coomassie and Sypro ruby staining, laser and fluorescent scanning, autoradiography, transblotting, Western blotting and protein identification by mass spectrometry. We maintain strict adherence to standardized procedures; laboratory operations are carried out under the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices. Consequently our clients can rely on consistent high-quality results, including a written summary describing conditions of electrophoresis. Confidentiality is guaranteed.
