Kendrick Labs, Inc. is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in proteomics services. Our mission is to help clients complete protein projects quickly, successfully, and economically. Mainly, we perform quantitative 1D and 2D gel electrophoresis for big pharma, small biotech, academia and food/beverage companies including protein product testing. In business since 1987, our team has created standard operating procedures for virtually all methods used; work is performed according to GLP/GMP guidelines. Our In-House QA Accreditation link provides a list of infrastructure SOPs along with credentials of Quality Assurance personnel. Kendrick Laboratories, Inc is registered with the FDA.

Carrier ampholine two-dimensional electrophoresis (2DE) is useful for resolving protein mixtures for discovery, characterization, and stability testing. Complex protein mixtures from many samples can be compared for differences, and then the changing proteins identified by mass spectrometry. In combination with Western blotting, 2DE is often more sensitive than mass spectrometry. This Newsletter describes details of our system, including compatibility with SDS and linearity of response.

With over two decades of experience, Kendrick Labs can meet all requirements including computerized 2D gel comparisons using Progenesis SameSpots software, silver, Coomassie and Sypro ruby staining, laser and fluorescent scanning, autoradiography, transblotting, Western blotting and protein identification by mass spectrometry.
